Reflections

The game Wyrm Warrior has a new trailer on Steam, and I find that the track that the game dev picked as trailer music is super efficient! It's a composition that I wrote with HydroGene for our album Wandering Fantasia, but being used in a fast-paced trailer makes it even more epic than before.

The demo for The Dungeon's Guardian: Rise of the Monsters is available to play! This retro tactical autobattler roguelike looks great and is already garnering attention (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RxK9O09WXw). The soundtrack uses a lot of my 16-bit music.

Heirs of the Fountains is an upcoming indie game coming out in November and it looks absolutely gorgeous! The soundtrack features a lot of my chiptune music. The game developer based the main characters of the game on his own children. Isn't that awesome!?

I've recently been hired to write custom music for the upcoming indie video game Leganda. The first step is to write exploration music for the demo that is coming out very soon. I crafted a gorgeous hybrid sound palette, mixing orchestral instruments with synthesizer leads and pads. The Steam page is up and running, and I should be publishing the first few tracks on my channel very soon.

My latest album of original video game music, RPG & Fantasy - Volume II: Action, is finally out now! You can enjoy it on most streaming services.

I'm releasing a new album on September 24, 2026. It's the standalone version of a music pack that is available to game developers.

Hey friends! I'm working on a new collection of tracks using the symphonic orchestra and geared towards action sequences and settings. I've just completed the first of the set. It's an airship track, and it features bombastic brass melodies and the entire (virtual) orchestra. Want to hear it?

I'm releasing my ninth album on all major digital streaming services on April 23, 2026! RPG & Fantasy - Volume I: Exploration is my very first orchestral album. It features ten original compositions that are inspired by exploration music from fantasy RPG video games.

Great news for humans! I finally removed all traces of AI images from my website, and that's all thanks to Jeremy Smith (human) from Smithy Games. I commissioned him to create a new background for the website, one that I will also be using for my new business cards. Jeremy had previously designed my logo. If you're a fan of his artwork, do check him out: https://smithygames.com/art-commissions/. He's extremely talented and very fun to work with.

Video game composer Alex Moukala recommended that I recreate my favorite tracks from the SNES era in order to improve my arranging and mixing skills. I decided to start with "Wind Scene" from Chrono Trigger. It is by far my favorite vgm track of all time. So here it is, completely recreated by ear using the software and VSTs at my disposal: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15nNsmDuDFbI8AcFmv8MhWuYXD9iCNGkI/view?usp=sharing

I haven't published new music on my YouTube channel in over a month, but rest assured, that doesn't mean I haven't been busy composing! I'm currently working with collaborator HydroGene on a new album inspired by sci-fi/fantasy JPRGs using the 16-bit sound of the Sega Genesis. I'm very happy to announce that we have hired an artist to design the album cover instead of relying on AI art. New music from the album will be dropping on my YouTube channel in the upcoming weeks.
